At an other point the game will show you some eye candy as you fight your way through colorful caves taking out new cursed pirates and electric crystalisk enemies.

What's a pirate themed expansion without some booty, eh? This DLC offers some of the most unique weapons and items for Borderlands 2 so far. The ending is satisfying when it comes to treasure, but not so much if you're looking for some more story. So if you're willing to look for hidden message in a bottle missions, you'll have some extra time with this DLC. Collecting new unique and hidden weapons is one of the best things from this DLC and worth the effort if you want an extra pirate side story.
Story…lack of it that is!
From the very start of the DLC, you're given the entire plot in a nutshell. You'll help Captain Scarlett find a lost treasure until she ends up betraying you. That's pretty much it. Other characters though, end up being pointless and end up not adding any depth to the game.
